Our Story

We began as a group of dedicated volunteers in the Tijuana – San Diego binational region. We strongly believe all animals have a right to a safe and fruit-fur life. Every day we see and hear about pups that are living on the streets, sick and desperately in need of help. We find that by working together, we can maximize our presence and our impact.

Our region is blessed with many independent rescues mostly built through volunteers who feel the same PAW-SSION towards making a difference, one pup at a time, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. We researched, we asked questions and did our homework. We established our 501(c)3, and Puppy Promise was born.
