Essential Information: Benito was found as a stray with a large open wound on the back of his neck, likely caused by a sharp object. In addition to his injury, he was infested with ticks and fleas. Despite his rough start, Benito has proven to be a resilient and loving pup. He is crate trained, enjoys long naps, and has a playful, gentle demeanor. Benito is currently learning how to walk on a leash and discovering what is means to just be a dog. He does well with children, making him a great addition to a family environment. His compatibility with cats is unknown, but with proper introductions, he may do well. Benito is ready to find a forever home where he can continue to heal, grown, and thrive.
Important Information: Marlex was found as a stray in April 2024, severely malnourished and with her body covered in sarcoptic mange. She also had injuries to her face, especially on her left eye, and a limp in her left leg. It is believed that she suffered a strong impact on her left side, causing irreparable damage. In July 2024, Marlex underwent an enucleation of her left eye and the amputation of her left leg. Despite her difficult past, Marlex has proven to be an incredibly brave fighter and is ready to find a forever home. She is kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs and young children, cats unknown. Being a tripod, Marlex needs to take frequent breaks and her skin allergies should be monitored to prevent flare-ups. Additional Info: Scooby is a rehome courtesy post. He is an alpha male and must be the only male dog in the household, although he gets along great with female dogs. Scooby is fantastic with teenagers, does well with younger children, and his interactions with cats are unknown. True to his breed, he is playful, energetic, and an excellent companion. While he can be stubborn at times, he is good-natured. He is crate trained (sleeps indoors in his crate), leash trained, obedient, and vocal, but does not bark.
